Pre-K Registration for 2012–2013 School Year on March 5–6
Pre-kindergarten registration for Whitfield County Schools is on Monday and Tuesday, March 5–6.
Families may only register children for prekindergarten at the Whitfield County Health Department at 808 Professional Boulevard in Dalton (Click for Google map) from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 5, and from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6. For quicker service, please download and complete the registration forms in advance and bring them with you to the health department for registration.
A parent seeking admission for their child must be present to register. Also, please bring copies of all of the following:
- Proof of Immunizations (Form #3231)

- Eye, Ear, and Dental Certificate (Form #3300)
- Social Security Card
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Address (rent receipt, power bill, or water bill in parent’s name with service address
- Medicaid/PeachCare Card
During your visit to the Whitfield County Health Department you may take advantage of the following services:
- Immunizations
- Dental Screenings
- Eye Examinations
- Birth Certificates (if born in Whitfield County)
- Get information about special needs services
